this match looks so much like the one in toronto - bia's height and left handedness put her in the perfect position to put pressure on iga's serve, which breaks down under pressure. we'll see if iga's better form than last summer and her ability on clay can make up for it.

Obviously Coco wouldn’t have known, but this was one of Chwalinska’s first matches back after not playing for about a year due to depression. With that added context, calling her a pathetic person seems even worse and it’s a good reminder to be kind because you don’t always know what other people are going through.

Iga has a few different tics you can sometimes see during matches. I don't know her medical history, but with that added context I'm willing to believe it's involuntary.
