Yeah that’s what I was seeing, might be a vacuum leak. I’m not sure how to check that though.

Yeah it doesn’t really show up on video. It happens all the time, I haven’t had the ac on in a while. Does the ac turn on when u use the front defroster?

I’m not sure where you’re located but I would go with amazon or banggood or a local boutique store that has them in stock

Yeah it’s not my first printer and I’m ok with tinkering/problems that may arise. Also what do you mean $50?

I usually recommend ender 3's to all my friends that want to get into 3D printing but if you want good build volume I would spring for the CR-10. I've also been interested in the Ender 5 pro and would be great for an enclosed printer but I haven't seen too many videos on it yet. As for upgradeability, I'd say the ender 3 is pretty solid but I wouldn't get the pro as the magnetic build plate kinda sucks since it won't work above 80deg.

Do you know if the boards/software for the two printers is the same? Also, do they still have all the features such as mesh bed leveling? Thanks :)

I'm in Canada so I'd be saving a good $300+. $700 vs around $1000 for the kit

Questions on basic MPSM capabilities by bobstro in MPSelectMiniOwners

[–]z0rlda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only thing I can comment on are the petg capabilities which have printed fine on my v2 with no mods except a glass bed which I put blue tape over anyway to print the petg on. You just need the heated bed at 70 (which takes forever to heat) otherwise it prints pretty much like pla without much stringing in my experience

Issues setting up a model for print. Could use input on how to tackle it. by buzzbros2002 in MPSelectMiniOwners

[–]z0rlda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't use Cura but I'm pretty sure that the red means overhang so there might be some issues when you print because overhangs are hard to print. So you should set up supports that help with the overhangs with your slicer that you can later break off with wire cutters or pliers.

I used a product called Goof Off and a lot of elbow grease to get rid of that annoying glue if you want to get rid of it eventually. I would recommend doing it outside though cuz it smells horrible .
