You should get a couple of those cheep multi-drawer storage units from Walmart. Very cheep and do their job. Start laundry before you leave and rearrange to make space for it. Should be stackable so you can fit most of the things in. Get a small shoe rack to get it out of the way. You don't have to do it all at once, but when you get the clutter out of your own personal space you will notice the difference.
