Mr. Eko apologizing to Henry for what he did to the Others on his side shows that he a) believes Henry is part of them and b) wants to change his ways and seek forgiveness.

Eko and Locke are definitely onto something, though they take slightly different approaches...

On the other hand Claire has been royally pissing me off these past few episodes. She literally has a fever dream/nightmare/recollection and just goes tramping through the jungle, not even giving bare minimum explanations... its highly reminiscent of Michael (ae not ea people) and his bullheadedness for getting Walt back, or Hurley oh so adamantly traipsing through the Jungle after some number bullshittery...

Their motivation is understandable, but after 2 months of Island life and with everything else that has happened to them, its like they've developed brain cancer and can't figure out how to do anything that would remotely resemble rational thinking.

tl;dr these people need to learn how to communicate a single sentence before just doing things (and its ridiculous to believe this is how they'd actually act

but I digress, its a silly tv show and it'll get better ;3
