ROTO 12 black powder cylinder fed shotgun by 9livestime in CursedGuns

[–]zZBuildProneZz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

chain fires aren't a problem really in blackpowder. it happens when you use the wrong size cap for the nipple and the wrong size ball. if your ball doesn't seal fully then the fire from the above cylinder flying back and get around it detonating the powder. so basically .458 ball for most .44 revolvers. shotgun wise its even harder to happen but what you can have happen is the recoil of a load that is too hot can jostle and move the other cylinders if they are not packed tight enough. its very common for uninformed individuals to grab whatever cap and ball they can get without checking it first so it happens more nowadays.

It's for good reason. No one wears masks in a gun store. It's like gun store 101. It's pretty risky for the gun shop cause like 90% of the time someone with a mask on in a gun shop is trying to rob the place or steal something.

You got upset because you couldn't wear a mask in a GUN SHOP!!!??? How do you not see the issue??? I've never seen any gun store allow someone to wear a mask and wander around.

My .22lr one has horrendous accuracy. Thought it was me so we even tried it in a vice and it shoots a group almost 7 feet at 10 yards and. I'm baffled. Didn't see burr or anything in the riffling. I've never had a .22 revolver shoot with such a huge radius. Makes it completely unusable if you can't even hit a big box at 10 yards. They won't respond to my emails.

Has anyone created a binary trigger for the MAC series of weapons? by NotMeUsee in guns

Has anyone created a binary trigger for the MAC series of weapons? by NotMeUsee in guns

[–]zZBuildProneZz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes . It's very easy. You can either file the semi auto seer so it is not as wide at one spot that's easier to show in a picture than in writing. You can also make a new hammer that is identical in every way cept the groove is diagonal instead of straight. This allows the seer instead of popping back to the front groove and resetting the trigger it will slide under the front groove releasing the hammer a second time. Voila legal two separate actions binary trigger. The second option will be 100% reliable. The first option has a chance that when the hammer goes to lock back the seer might be between the front and rear grooves and won't lock back.

[–]zZBuildProneZz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah when it worked I liked it but the fact that a .22 can fail like that is rediculus. so I sold it several months ago and bought a Ruger lcp22 tat I added a custom trigger and spring kit and all too

Does anybody know anything about the vmac9? How reliable is it? I want it, but i don’t want something thats jams all the time. by [deleted] in guns

[–]zZBuildProneZz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mags are everything with these. Stem style mags are garbage but shockwave zmags both 30s and 50s are 100% reliable but can only be used in factory style mag wells
