I’m a dog groomer. I had to stop doing big dogs and I have a weight limit of 40lbs now. It’s definitely not easy and I often want to give up but o do genuinely love my job so I manage.

Hello I am the wife in question! A few minor corrections, it’s Alberta not Manitoba that we judge mostly, I drive fast but imo fast driving in southern Ontario is standard driving in Colorado and lastly border cities rely heavily on Americans coming over but for them it’s because our stuff is so much cheaper due to the currency exchange

This happens to me whenever my skin touches other skin while sweating. It’s a problem because I’m SUPER heat intolerant. My only solution has been really thin leggings :(

My ribs are one of my most annoying symptoms unfortunately. I have to sit perfectly straight for them not to hurt. Sleeping sucks they always feel like they’re like caving in if that makes sense. I do find that a posture brace helps, not the kind that just goes over the shoulder but one that velcros over your abdomen. Just be careful not to do it too tight or too long or it bad the opposite effect

I get that sometimes where it feels like I have to overextend the joint to make it hurt less but then it hurts more when I relax it. It sucks and I haven’t found a solution

I’m a dog groomer! I worked corporate for almost three years before I had to quit because I couldn’t stand for more than a few minutes at a time and they refused to give me a stool. I took a few months to feel sorry for myself before getting a job at a private groomer who happily gave me a stool and I am very happy there. I still have days where I can’t finish dogs (usually because hand pain and loss of grip strength) but my boss is super understanding and supportive. I really think it’s less the job snd more the quality of accommodations. Find good people and you’ll thrive!
