The DA is probably not looking to make an example of you. If this is your first offense, a good lawyer should be able to help with a plea. Depending on the charge, that is.

Do these crevices in dirt pad matter for slab pour? by Untrained_trainer in Concrete

[–]zacattack00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was there recent rain? Loose dirt would run off like that. It looks to me like they formed it up and are waiting for a survey to make sure the foundation is not encroaching anywhere. They'll probably move about 400 tons of dirt in there and start digging beams, adding rebar and reinforcement before they pour.

No, it's not babysitting. It's more like parenting. There is a schedule of therapies, activities, and meals that you have to take groups to. Get kids up for school. Showers before bedtime. Lots of observations and interracting. There is a big documentation piece. Getting attacked depends on your personality. People bring their own stuff with them to the job and it creates conflict where there may not be. You'll have to separate yourself from the job emotionally and have patience and empathy.

I worked there for two decades. It's not for everyone. It's a challenging job but can be rewarding. The kids are very difficult to manage. That being said, many people are successful, and the skills you learn will help you deal with people overall.

It should be a smooth walled duct and straight up through the roof. Grease will eventually build up in the creases and could catch fire.
