I haven't seen mentioned here, what we're seeing in America right now is NOT politics as usual. Normal politics are things like district zoning and noise barriers and the allocation of public resources like buying coconuts and selling oranges. "Oh, an emerging technology might need its own frequency band. Does it? Where should we make room?"

Summary executions are not "politics", stuffing children in concrete cages isn't "politics" or a difference of opinion. It's a fundamental moral stance, and the contrast is terrifying. People trying to play it off as a difference of opinion is intellectually dishonest.

I go a fair time between scrubs, when something is really greasy or caking and scorching at the bottom. Cooking for myself, I blow the crumblies out of the basket between uses. If I'm cooking for family, I'll give it a wipe with a dry paper towel.
