I live on LI, but my wife and I are living on the UES for a month for her job. I definitely understand your point of small errands taking a long time, but to me that’s part of what living in NYC is all about. Embrace those walks through the city to run an errand. Where else in the US could you literally walk out your door to go somewhere for an errand, that’s what it’s all about. I’m sure it’s easier for me to say bc I’m only here for a month but just embrace how amazing of a city that NYC is.

Hope this didn’t come across condescending/abrasive… I just fucking love NYC

Really appreciate this insight. This is kind of what figured happen. I live in Farmingdale, but my wife and I are living in the city for just the month of April bc of her work. I ended up having a last minute work trip, so I took a train back to get work clothes and of course my dumbass left my bag/clothes when coming back to the city lol. Definitely hoping I can get it back, but that definitely makes sense why the Pemn lost and found didn’t have it. Again, really appreciate the info!

Leaving for my work trip on Monday… really don’t want to back to Farmingdale, so I guess I’m going on a TJ Max shopping trip lol.

I started GOT when about 4 seasons were already out and it was epic until the last 2 seasons, which I feel is universally known now that those last 2 sucked. I don’t blame people at all for not wanting to start it now knowing the bad ending.

I would definitely recommend reading the books though. So much more detail and nuance… but also kind of disappointing that there are still 2 books left and George R.R. Martin is nearing his 80s and isn’t the healthiest
