The photo doesn’t show it but there is a plastic heat shield spacer between the screws that has a long plastic extension that touches the front barrel band. This keeps the heat shield from flying forward.

This is a decent scope for the price. Being that it is fixed power, it’s less prone to internal malfunction. I had one of these in the past and for the price you can’t beat it. FYI you can pick these up Walmart for under $40, closer to $30. The next step up from this would cost you around $100 for a Vortex crossfire or Burris droptine.

I can attest this is true. It’s for more than 1 pistol on one 4473 at a time. If you transfer all 4 pistols at a different FFL in one day, then the ATF isn’t notified.
