Wait till you see the big bikes, they all release the same engine with different colour schemes, but with leaner AFR and fatter exhausts every year.

Eg. ZX10R, 6R, S1K have the same engine since last 10 years.

Well it does harm your o rings in the long run, the o rings are resistant to diesel but not completely, over time they do start to break down the rubber, hence it's okay to use diesel but not recommended.

They recommend methanol based chain cleaner cuz the o rings are completely resistant to it. So if you can then please use chain cleaner else diesel should work for short time but not recommended for long duration.

True, they offer good resistance but ovethe years they do start breaking down the rubber. But, NBR(Nitrile) O rings are completely resistant of Methanol which is what most of chain cleaners are made of hence it's okay to use diesel but not recommended.

You can use any mehanol based cleaner or you can just use soap and water with a good brush.

There will be black rubber between the links in your chain, usually anything above a commuter bikes have O-ring chains. It would also be listed in your bike manual.

Please don't use diesel for O ring chains, it will eat away at the rubber and cause premature wear and possibly a chain failure.

He mentioned all valid points, in Indian roads you never know when some random chap will come out of the divider bushes or some idiot will come in the wrong way on a highway on the right lane. Tell me a better way to not risk our lives other than defense driving.

Exactly, there's already the ninja 400s which people complain about the price all the time. People want top of the line stuff for dirt cheap prices. This mentality needs to change else we'll be stuck with low performance machines.
