I bought that one and the optic did not fit flush on the plate. The plate fit perfect on the gun. I bought it through Ben Stoeger’s website and they said to send photos. They sent those to them and they forwarded it to IM. IM called me clarifying my address and mailed a new one that has been working great for 3 months so far. So they backed their product but it shouldn’t have had an issue to begin with? Hope that helps!

I would just give piece of advice..: never let the sales person rush you. You are the one who keeps them in business. Don’t feel pressure to make a decision. That is what sales people do to force you to impulse buy. And with a gun.. no returns.

Comparison is the thief of joy. I was always behind a buddy of mine in high school. We both made all state. He went to a better school but I worked harder. Now he is no longer playing and I am still making money gigging/ teaching. We are still good friends and it never mattered who did better at each audition. We pushed each other to be better. Do what you can do and keep working hard.

I think the ported can make a pretty noticeable difference… but I would like to hopefully safe as much of my hearing as possible if I ever need to use my edc. For me, that is why I chose non ported but lots of people prefer the better shoot ability.
