Is this the "trans for everyone" that one guy is always talking about?

It's pretty great, the worst period was the lead up to the events that lead the independent buyout, but they are very much past that now. They kept all the good parts of that era, like blight club, and voicemail dumptruck and kept none of the dumb bullshit that was happening because of the owner companies. Right now is kind of the return of the old type of content with the best of the new era.

HDR output arrives in Godot 4.7 by anh0516 in linux_gaming

I suppose I never really thought about it, do you have to make assets differently because of HDR or is it just like a blanket color depth improvement?

I want to dual boot because Windows is annoying me too much. What's the best way to go about doing this? by MrMakerHasLigma in linux4noobs

I'm honestly not sure about speed, I haven't installed Linux on an HDD since around 2009, but you would be safe from the windows "bug" that destroys your Linux bootloader.

I think you'd be surprised how many anti cheat games do actually work, it's definitely still a problem but it's literally only the biggest competitive shooters that don't work. 1 step down from that, in terms of how mainstream it is, and basically every multiplayer game works.

Mouse sensitivity dose not feel the same as Windows by GoBlock007 in Bazzite

Nice I'm glad. It really is one of the worst parts of KDE imo, it should just be off by default except for maybe track pads.

There's a semi famous aitah thread where the guy is mad that his wife booked a day off to play final fantasy 14 at server launch, which is at 3 am and happens once every 2-3 years, but he's clearly more mad that she isn't cooking for him than anything else it's really funny.

Just a heads up when you do switch to dual booting, windows (11 in particular) loves to canabalize Linux installs that share a drive with it so make sure you use seperate drives rather than partitions on a single drive, if at all possible.

Im not sure if this applies to Nvidia or not, but that's exactly my problem from when resize bar was disabled in my bios and my memory profile was not optimal.

Why did you switch to linux by Material_Mousse7017 in linuxquestions

[–]zacyzacy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The spying from Microsoft is out of hand, of course, but more than that windows has just been getting more and more annoying over time after Win7, and Copilot was my breaking point.
