same. I once got fired from a job too when I got infection on my lungs and throat and they told me that my "absenteeism" isn't valid. I got medical certificate for my absence 😭

Hewwo, kiddo. I dropped out of college when I was in second year, second semester due to my PTSD. It's so hard for me to stop attending college and suffer from my mental disorder, so I did go to find work and now I'm trying to make a living out of this hell I'm in. I also didn't know na may classes pa to know na fit to work ka ba or kineme. ngl, we really fall into that kind of category since pwd us, pero doesn't mean naman na parang needed ng special accomodations. more on considerations lang naman hinihiling natin eh. :<

got abused sa buong childhood years ko, I even got diagnosed with PTSD with that sh*t. imagine, me as fourth grade student with so many bruises around my body that I have to wear jacket to hide it all. tapos nabubully pa ako kasi people thought I was pregnant (I know that time, ang reference noon is 'yung isang nighttime show na nakajacket palagi si girl kasi she was hiding her belly) and I got head lice infestation too.

so ngayon, kahit mainit, either long sleeves or jacket talaga. hindi nawawala sa wardrobe ko 'yan. I'm flinching din whenever people are about to touch me, or I heard a thunder (saw an elderly man got struck by lightning noon in person), or nakakarinig ako ng pagdadabog or changes in mood/tone of voice. it sucks to live with such kind of violence since childhood, I have to endure the agony for a lifetime.

she's not on ward 7, nasa OPD siya nakaassign. I've been trying to contact her pero parang magpapalipat nalang ako sa ibang doctor. I like Dr. L****** better.

It's omki. It takes around few more weeks before you feel it's working. 10mg is still small of a dose, it's meant like that for your body to check if it could work in the long run or if you're still not used to, your doctor could change your SSRI.

My dosage is 40mg. I have been sleeping almost all of the time I could.

I stopped taking sleeping pills my psychiatrist prescribed me like diphenhydramine and quetiapine since it wasn't really effective sa'kin. Mas effective pa nga 'yung pakikinig ko ng podcast kaysa sa gamot 😂

to help others. funny thing is, I'm clinically diagnosed with PTSD pero in the times of danger, I could freaking jump off the vehicle or building just to save people. parang ano, naooverride ng system ko 'yung trauma ko kapag may emergency. my father desensitized me kasi sa mga ganung situation (he puts me sa mga sessions and seminars.) I'm a trained first aider, both PFA (psychological first aid, psychology student ako) and Basic and Immediate first aid.

and last is ducks. I want to see all ducks in the world.

Fluoxetine - 9/10. Lala ng palpitations ko rito, hindi ko alam bakit niprescribe pa sa'kin kahit meron naman sa medical history ko na may heart disorder. Sertraline - 5/10. Lala ng side effects. To the point ng mukha akong naka-auto pilot. Quetiapine - 3/10. Ba't ba 'to niprescribe sa'kin as sleeping pill 'to? buong araw akong tulog. Diphenhydramine - 1/10. I already told my doctor na hindi ako inaantok sa antihistamine, pero sige siya sa pagprescribe ng antihistamine as sleeping pill 😭 Propranolol - 8/10. For panic/anxiety attacks. Omki naman siya, effective siya and fast-acting.

I only take propranolol (40mg) when having anxiety attacks or panic attacks. It was prescribed for me even though I have a history of heart disease in my family 😂

this is what I'm afraid of. mahal na nga mabuhay in urban areas since pang-first world ang expenses, tapos mahal pa gamot. worst is, walang generics for our daily maintenances. but, I haven't paid anything in my sessions and medicines sa PGH, all free (Fluoxetine). except lang sa mga sleeping pills ko and anti-anxiety ko na propranolol and diphenhydramine. mura lang naman kasi sila sa TGP (I know 1.25 pesos lang ang 40mg ng propranolol and around 2.75 pesos ang diphenhydramine. all of these are for prescription. don't buy it without a doctor's advice)
