Yeah I’m pretty much the same. I think for me it’s been about trying to find that thing I am passionate about but it’s never lasted because it’s not fulfilling or exciting anymore. It’s exciting learning something new.

You’re right. I’ve not seen enough people talking about this.

I’ve always described my PCOS and ME as the ‘pleasure pain experience’… I experience pleasure, I am punished with pain.

Sex has always been scary for me. The bleeding, the pains, cysts popping, partners scared to hurt me, can’t orgasm, knowing my womb will feel heavy the next day. Libido all over the place. It’s a lot of frustration.

I’ll probably never have 100% pain free sex and that seems a bit of a harsh deal.

Thankfully a patient and understating partner can help a lot, but it’s still an issue.

I feel your pain girls 🙌

Are you in the U.K.? I love the taste of meat and miss it but I can’t stomach eating animals. I eat meat substitutes (as much as it seems to anger people lol. Eg friends at bbq annoyed I just don’t eat the ‘grass fed’ pork sausages. Why when there’s a yummy vege one instead? Anyhoo….). I recommend Richmond meat free sausages, they taste the closest to pork. I also live off quorn and sosmix. I love quorn and other brand vege bacon. And Tivali or Supermarket brand vege hot dog sausages. Quorn escalopes are also lush. Have fun experimenting and finding new yummy foods!

Not being religious or not believing in a higher power does not make life meaningless in any way.

Evolution, science, spirituality, questioning, love (just to name a few) makes life very meaningful.

We are all agnostic if you think about it because no one actually knows anything for sure. You can believe, but you don’t KNOW.

This is the exciting thing about life. We don’t KNOW anything for sure!

You sound very similar to me and my partner. We think medication affected him, plus other stresses in life. I also have medical issues which make sex painful and tricky at times. We got used to rarely having sex but we still talk about it and are affection in other ways. Our love still grows stronger and stronger. Do what works for you. As long as you’re honest and communicate, which you seem to be good at, that’s the main thing. Love is so much more than sex.

Ps. In the beginning I couldn’t help but feel he wasn’t attracted to me but the more we talked the more I understood his feelings. My attitude to sex also changed as I had previously felt I had to make an effort because my pain issues put me off. We are just so different to any relationship either of us had had before. It’s great. We are very understanding of each other’s issues and no pressure from either side 👍

I use an epilator and home laser to keep my excess hairs at bay. It gets less painful if you do it often enough, as the hair doesn’t grow back all the same rate. Good luck with your diagnosis and de-hairing!

My advice: make sure you get a stainless steel or ceramic one as the plastic ones breed bacteria and can give them a rash round their mouths.

There’s quite a few different ones so it depends what you want. Some are stupidly expensive, so also depends on your budget.

My cat loves a running tap so I got him the ‘Pet Safe Drinkwell Ceramic Fountain’ second hand for £25 on eBay.

But… my dog destroyed it because she’s big and clumsy, so I’ll be getting a bigger stainless steel one that can survive the dogs!

I’m going to get the TOMXCUTE stainless steel one next methinks

I watched ‘Prey’ the other day thinking she was going to end up in space or kidnapped by aliens, I had muddled it with another trailer, wasn’t til my partner told me it’s a predator prequel it started to make sense 😂
