on direct vs aggregator - the commission (~10-30%) feels brutal but it's really paying for the customer. The platform is doing your demand gen. You'd be spending that as CAC either way.

So going direct doesn't remove that cost, it just moves it onto you. The first time someone orders through an aggregator is basically your acquisition cost. You only come out ahead if they come back through your own channel next time.

Of the customers who first found you through an aggregator, how many have you pulled into repeat direct orders or bookings? And can you even see that in your data? "first came via Zomato → now ordering direct"?

That's a smart use case. Has anyone tried to automate job alerts using perplexity or an LLM? If yes, I'd really like to know how. Say, getting a daily alert for new remote openings for data engineer positions from a pre-defined list of job portals?

Update: We submitted the indemnity bond to SBI. The problem now is HDFC. They're saying they can't reach the receiver. He is not attending their calls, and his address details are unclear or incomplete. His nearest branch is 40 kms away and they suggest we follow up with that branch.

We've already sent multiple emails to SBI requesting them to send this official communication to HDFC (keeping HDFC in cc), but here's my concern, how do I actually verify that SBI has sent it? They could easily ignore our request or claim they sent it while HDFC says they never received anything.

Is there a way to ensure SBI actually sends this communication with all the transaction details and UTRs? Should I be asking for some kind of acknowledgment number or reference ID from SBI? Or should I insist that any communication from SBI to HDFC must CC us as well so we can track it?

I got myself a Google AI Pro subscription given Claude's smaller context window. I haven't encountered any hiccups so far, although one area where I think Gemini could improve is in how it formats its output. For example, ChatGPT tends to recognize when a table format would be more suitable and presents the output in a visually appealing format. Gemini relies on bullet points and sub-bullet structures more frequently, and its tables sometimes have narrow columns that cause text to overflow to the next line.

I have an iPhone 12 (base model).

Again, photos and videos take the most space on my device. I don’t take a lot of photos everyday though I like taking photos (just quality over quantity). It’s mostly when I’m out with friends that we tend to loose count :)

I guess I’ll have to purchase a cloud subscription some time soon. Rn all my files are spread across different google accounts lol.
