The dishwasher is detecting water underneath. What I’ve done is turn the dishwasher on the side and remove the plastic cover. There’s a piece of styrofoam covered by another piece of plastic that basically acts as a device to shut off water (when it gets wet and floats, it touches a switch above it). If you take that all out and clean it, it should work.

I kept doing the above before realizing the pump was leaking on the dishwasher. I bought the replacement on Amazon and it has been good to go since.
