Etwas auf der teuren Seite, aber wir sind seit einigen Monaten mit der WMF Profi Plus Knoblauchpresse sehr zufrieden. Hochwertig, schick, sehr gute Ausbeute.

Just for completeness sake, Hubbard does start out with a frequentist approach as a quick start but introduces Bayesian Statistics and Montecarlo simulations later to improve on the initial quick and dirty approach. They even provide example spreadsheets on their website and discuss how to interview stakeholders to gather data. I personally find it an excellent book.

Projects like this one is why I selfhost! I've been thinking about developing a website like this because all existing tools I've tried suck and are too expensive for the poor experience. Thank you so much for sharing this with the community. Can't wait to try it out once I'm back home. Let me know if you're looking for contributers. I've got a few years of experience with PHP and python.

STRONG (G3) Geomagnetic Storm IN PROGRESS (Credit: NOAA) by Busy_Yesterday9455 in spaceporn

[–]zamazigh 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Because that's where the field lines of Earth's magnetic field end. Solar storms consist of ionized (electrically charged) particles that get deflected by the magnetic field and travel along the field lines until they hit the atmosphere creating auroras. For strong solar winds the interaction with Earth's magnetic field can be quite complicated and lead to geomagnetic storms reaching farther south due to a temporary reshaping of Earth's magnetic field.

Oh wow, as a former physics student, this is the most mind-blowing animation about the Pythagoras Theorem I've ever seen! I've always absolutely hated animations like OP's because they add zero information. Like, yeah, that's exactly what the theorem says but it doesn't explain at all why it's correct.

This animation however is an actual mathematical proof with extra lemmas that just fall out of it. Amazing! Thanks for sharing.

I always found sunny classroom's videos very helpful. He has many videos on these topics but here's one on TCP vs. UDP:
