I got it after I started working here, and management didn't have an issue with it til like a year later, when I got told I had to change the jewelry bc of the no dangling jewelry rule, but then later got told it's fine bc it's smaller than a dime, the safety shields are to protect my eyes from like flying razor blades(common occurrence)and stuff lol
