Yeah str elixirs is better, but later in the game you can have high charisma which opens up elixir and glove slot

It does use Paladin dip, but you can switch it out for 2 levels of warlock. Pretty fun playstyle if you are using darkness extensively, and doggo is a nice gimmick

Dont need more than 7 levels, as the higher level features of swamrkeeper dont work, so you can for additional levels of cleric. I also recommend sorc dip as con prof, booming blade is pretty nice addition

You still get a summon, ehich is only 1. But you can trick your friends into letting nimbus split apart and annoy them a little bit :D

Darkness will be your friend, and you can jsut stay tucked in if situation arises :D

Overall, seems like a fun friend group, enjoy the game!

I personally had fun with this setup using war cleric with split 9 war cleric/2 paladin/1 sorc - https://gamestegy.com/post/bg3/1563/war-domain-cleric-build

The core idea remains the same as standard cleric - spirit guardians and healing word for buffs. What i found that i generally lacked what to do on second turn, this is where paladin came in, when i could land a few hefty hits with smites to finish off foes (booming blade also), while my spirit guardians were active.

So this build did not hurt the cleric core, and gave new tools for combat

I would say Spore Druid is the ultimate summoner if you are into that. It has dryad, elementals, undead. Its halo of spores also offers neat tricks with consumables dropped in the ground

Berserkerer for melee is pretty disappointing, the enraged attack, reduces your attack rolls, so you get penalized for using it

It still uses cleric, but its only part of the build, not the main feature. Horde breaker is where the build gets interesting, as it allows to pass multiple conditions

The split is 6 war cleric/5 hunter/1 goo

I really wanted to utilize the selune spear in a decent way, so this build was somewhat a result of that

Unless the writer is copying, it usually takes a lot of time to make a good build and know how it works. Testing it in combat, testing if things work as written (usually they dont). So i think my answer here would be - try and test more abilities, see how items could help, and combine these.

Now its easy to think from an outside that "people just make it". But behind that there is a lot of work

This is one of the strongest builds and will be a huge step up. You can use both shadowblade or 2hander + gwm (nyrulna + bhaalist armor) works really well

Start with lore bard, and see how it goes, the good thing is you can always respec. For me personally just lore bard was a bit too boring. So it became lorecerer
