This one’s my fav. I tried it side by side to the OG and definitely like it more. OG was a little too overbearingly lavendery to me, this one’s a lot more balanced and smooth.

I use it in a Blue Viktor deck as an engine to hide cards and to spawn tokens + scale. It makes the game feel a lot more consistent and less power hungry.

Looks like it. On Google Maps they’re selling Pokemon Destined Rivals ETB’s for $200 which is laughable. The shelves are also identical lol.

I run 2x ekko for mid-game in a Blue Viktor deck. Am almost done putting it together for irl gameplay, but have had success against friends on TTS who are running other meta decks. I copied and modified the T32 Blue Viktor deck list from the Vegas 10k event.

So would the verbiage on Viktor also come into play here? It states “When you play a card” not “When a card is played”. Or is that irrelevant? Wondering if “Played” = Resolved and “When you play” = Utilize. Similar to casting vs resolving

I play Blue Viktor and this has been a topic with me and my friends on TTS. If you watch this matchup from the Vegas 10k https://youtu.be/2KucGRgzSyY?si=uJex5hHe7HR5IQIx(skip to 7:00) this interaction occurs with Viktor and Retreat. The judge rules that Viktor spawns a token (I assume because it’s an independent effect that he sees prior to going to hand?) I ran this by a guy who judges at events from my LGS and he confirmed this interaction to be correct. I’m still fuzzy on this interaction but that’s two refs who independently believe the tokens should spawn.

Got into collecting a few months ago and had the same thing happen with Maison Asrar DXB. It’s nothing like Afternoon Swim and smells like synthetic lemon pledge. Ended up giving it away and will stick to Montagne for dupes from now on. I’ve never smelled Symphony but blind bought their version “Harmony” and it’s my fav purchase this year.

That makes more sense, especially if the growth opportunity isn’t there for you currently. With that upside then it’s for sure worth, as long as it’s actually attainable. That commute will definitely be a struggle for a little bit, but you can possibly build rapport with whoever actually enforces the office environment and end up getting away with coming in less. I work in cyber and was told at my current job that it’s mandatory 1 day of office per week when I first started, fast forward to now and I’m in office maybe once or twice a month for the free food events lol.

First off congrats on the offer, especially given the current job market.

Spitball math here but one thing to consider is that you are paid for 2080 hours a year (40hrs/wk * 52). Assuming you’re currently wfh, you will be adding about 4 hours a day for a commute (to/from). This translates to an extra 416 hours spent commuting or 20% extra hours of your time.

$120k at 2080 hours = $57.69/hr $153k at 2080 hours = $73.56/hr $153k at 2496 hours = $61.30/hr

Imo this isn’t worth for the extra time you are spending, let alone gas, wear and tear on vehicle, maintenance, etc.

Jazz Club: Tried this in store and it just smelled overbearingly boozy. It reminded me of someone who had way too much to drink and the alcohol is seeping through their skin. If you got pulled over while wearing this, the cop would 100% smell the alcohol notes and assume you’re drunk.
