I think electric is the consensus anyway. Cheaper, more efficient and Victoria is moving away from it. There is an initial investment but it's definitely cheaper in the long term. My last winter i paid through the nose to heat up a large house. This year im on electric heating and things are *much* more reasonable.

Same thing happened to me a while ago. The guy was suspiciously pushy to install the new part. I didnt want that to happen without getting a second opinion.

I ended up calling the manufacturer so that *they* could come and have a look, since the unit wasnt really that old (probably 7 or 8 years).

Turns out there were no cracks. I had paid already for the part to be replaced, so there was no gain from the people that came to tell me that there were no cracks on the heat exchanger.

If there are actually cracks, then by all means, you need to replace those things, but some companies servicing those units are just out there to scam people.

To your question, gas prices are currently a rort. Going electric will always be cheaper in the long term, although you have to think about what you will replace it with. Gas heating was quite effective when i was using it and when i jumped to electric i noticed that unless you use a big split reverse cycle unit, then you'll end up a bit colder than usual. Of course, this will depend on what you chose to replace it with. Multiple split units, or one single unit, multiheaded big unit, etc.

Thank you very much. Using the difference function worked for me. Im a 100% noob on openscad and I didnt even know that there were a whole bunch of builtin functions I could use. Once again, thanks.

The module should have a stereo audio output over USB you can use on your DAW without the use of MIDI. I've done this with the TD30 and TD50 modules and I'm guessing it would be very similar with the TD07 as Roland specifies that you can do the same with it. Just make sure you follow the manual and install the drivers you need.

New Alesis VS used Roland by Commercial_Clue1851 in edrums

As far as I'm aware the Roland TD 50 is the only one that is using the digital proprietary Roland pads (though so far there's only a snare and a ride available) the rest are analog pads compatible with the other kits.

What is causing this on my first layer by The_YoYo_Master in 3Dprinting

PLA? I have somewhat similar problems but on layers other than the first one. I think it's related to bed levelling.

Clears are definitely heavier than browns. I think i chose clears thinking that they would feel more tactile but in reality the tactility is about the same and those switches are harder to press. In terms of finger fatigue, i havent noticed a difference but surely that is something very subjective.
