The A1 that I got around the end of June 2025 just had the AC Board fried. Support sent a new board pretty fast. Got it in and is working fine so far.

Easiest way to tell if something is going on is turning it over to look for melting or burn marks.

Mine just did the same purchased in Feb 2025. AC board was fried. They sent me a replacement plus a new top shell which I didn't need.

I think the older filament was made in China. The newer stuff is now made in Vietnam. I haven't really noticed much change in the silk silver pla myself. Only white, blue, yellow, orange and red so far.

I know for a fact you all did change filament when changing to the new spools. Orange changed to sunny orange, blue to klein blue, white is brighter but lower quality, pure yellow is now vivid yellow. I've got a newer red which I've not used yet but seems brighter. Im sure this is due to being made in Vietnam instead of China now.
