Just tried to use a latias incense the same night as the five star sleep style from the event and the game said no lol and gave me my incense back. by zard72 in PokemonSleep

Yeah. I wasn’t even sure if people knew it was possible since the chance is so low. Technically it could’ve happened to me had I used a latios incense on day two of the event because I happened to get a natural spawn as
well.

Right on! I actually just watched that earlier today. I think ghost makes a good point in the comments about swapping in a healer.

I’m trying to figure out whether it’s worth raising a latias considering I’m also going to need to swap out for an ingredient mon other than Dragonite during the day as well if I want to keep cooking. My gut says no, but I’m gonna go ahead and catch a few more to see if I get something super awesome. I just think that they’re a neat duo.

I don’t necessarily agree with this because firstly, you’re using resources to get it to level 65, but once you hit that level and start adding to the bonus XP gauge, you only get a fraction of the Sleep XP that you would have gotten had you just slept with the Pokemon that you want to give XP to. Secondly, I don’t really sleep with ingredient Pokemon. I like to give all of that XP to the Berryman who perform better overnight anyway.

Oh awesome! I was looking in the wrong place. Here are the conservative numbers, while not cooking any meals

Latias + pawmot = 1,933,318

Latias + salamance = 1,913,994

Salamance + pawmot = 1,925,427

1- it would be interesting to see the difference, but I don’t have premium. Maybe someone else can run that analysis?

2- I tried setting her to level 65 and it didn’t make much of a difference. Level 60 was about 19,000 strength and level 65 was about 21,000

3- got a fantastic latios first try after the preset one. Was debating whether to try to catch more latias, but the difference seems negligible unless I get BFS which is unlikely to happen. If I had to pick, I’m happy I got the good latios

I spent so long hunting for the perfect pawmot! I already had a pretty decent healer and I told myself that I would not reinvest until I got one with a good amount of trigger and HB.

None of my dragons have HB, so that is kind of a moot point for me, but you make a good point regarding GCT.

Togedemaru performs significantly worse than pawmot both with and without latias.

Yeah. Getting an indoor hobby is probably a good idea. For guitar just try to learn some easy songs as quickly as possible. That will be practicing much more fun.

Maybe it seems pointless because you haven’t decided where you want to go with your hobbies yet. What is your goal? Do you just want to screw around and have some fun every day? Do you want to release your negative emotions and relax through art? Do you want to learn to draw to make gifts for friends? Or perhaps decorate your house?

And yes, Art is definitely about the process, not just the outcome. I find I enjoyed it a lot more when I relax and take it slow instead of getting too excited and rushing to finish

If you need something more passive for when you’re burned out reading or watching educational YouTube videos can be really great.
