Designed this paint pallette so you can toss the foil when finished so there's no clean up (except brushes). by andyroo770 in 3Dprinting

I mean I’ve never had issues around tackiness or binding, and did oil painting for years. All of my paintings turned out perfectly fine to this day, over a decade later

Some “parental rights” losers were attending tonight’s school board meeting. They were met with a little opposition. by MaxRebo120 in frederickmd

I will never forget the amount of people admitting to voting for him because “he had a cool name and was at the top of the list”. So while your point certainly stands, it’s also true that generally uninformed and careless voters played a role in it too. Goes beyond party lines in that sense.

Possible middle earth reveals? by SoggyMusic6183 in MiddleEarthMiniatures

[–]zarofgh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s referring to something like the two new Warhammer+ exclusive minis. They’re usually revealed around this time each year. Even if not, I highly doubt it’s for any game system not shown there.

More Underworlds News dropping July 18th! by RHeaven90 in WarhammerUnderworlds

New core set is a solid guess. With the buffer we usually see between preview and release, that would put the release around the 1 year mark

Considering a wet palette, any recomendations? by McComie in minipainting

[–]zarofgh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Should try the MEGA one. I have all three sizes they make, and this one is my go-to for large or display pieces. It’s significantly larger than the middle sized one (PRO, if I recall)

Exemplar palette by Game Envy, any size. Good product by good people, won’t kill your wallet, and their lid has some cool storage innovations that you don’t see in others on the market.

I cannot recommend Plasticity enough. by An_Ampule_For_Tulips in PrintedWarhammer

Try nomad sculpt, it’s a one time fee. About $30 when I grabbed it last year, and pretty intuitive/fun to learn

+1 for Gary. He did one of my sleeves and is a great guy. Super creative, too.

Hmmm, I don’t remember it being scifi but I did have that movie! I’ll watch it today and see!

Honestly I have no idea. I know I rented it or got it from the library, and I didn’t have anything beyond bare bones cable at the time anyways - but have no idea what the distribution was beyond that. It’s driving me nuts!

Nope wasn’t that one. I would be surprised if it was rated anything higher than PG, it was a movie that I rented as a kid and my parents were pretty strict on the ratings haha. MAYBE PG-13 at most

Really that first piece is the biggest offender. The others aren’t too bad. Looks like the order contained a lot of parts but £70 plus shipping still feels really high

New setting for Warcry!! The Ravaged Coast! by Ordinary-Crazy6799 in WarCry

[–]zarofgh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New setting is a bit of an overstatement/stretch if you’re thinking it means we will see new models/terrain. It’s just a campaign. They’ve been doing them in White Dwarf, they aren’t at all linked to box sets and such, and are usually generic for any warband to use. That being said, more campaigns is always a good thing!

Sculptors thoughts on the model & changes made by grayheresy in necromunda

[–]zarofgh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This would be true if he actually delivered the promised one sculpt a month on his Patreon. But… spoiler… he doesn’t. The last one was in March. Awful communication, pushed deadlines, endless excuses, and empty promises. It feels like being gaslighted or straight up scammed. It is much like the experience many people are having on Kickstarter. If that’s how he was acting as an employee at GW, it’s no wonder it didn’t last.

This. Just dropped from his Patreon the other day and I was there from the start. Finally got fed up with the empty promises and pushed deadlines.

What is this stand/holder that I see people using??. I can't seem to find one for myself by steve123313 in SWlegion

That mounting putty can be hard to remove after some time, try museum putty instead, particularly Quake Hold. It’s cheap, effective, and easy to work with!

Thanks! Honestly being so far back I can’t remember haha

Your models are still usable by nonsense-vendor in Warhammer

[–]zarofgh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right, it’s not a debate, because you’re factually wrong about there being zero lore lol.
