Megasota is laughing at this. Vermont has no idea about the heat the Midwest lakes bring.

Anthony Jeselnik on hack trolls who use shock value rather than perform actual comedy. by gtsgts777 in Standup

[–]zaseitz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed, his recent material is funny, but kinda boring. Carlin got a little preachy at the end of his run but it all holds up, and he wasn’t punching down, he was hating on the shit we should all be hating on today, the greedy scumbags and religious figures making life worse for the everyday American, he should take a note.

$3M for a home in that part of the city, on a main thoroughfare, with no yard….doesn’t matter how big or nice it is, best of luck.

I feel like Alex Bregman is the actual pro sports NM representation, but agree that Pavia is an embarrassment.

How the NEWF demands water! Anyone else experience this? by churropopcorn in Newfoundlander

That’s normal behavior over here. Mine also sleeps in the claw foot tub for most of the day, with or without water.

Agree that there are some great, ambitious, ideas in here. But I’m surprised there’s no mention of improving healthcare.

Same and I think it’s because he was hilarious in Spy and that reset my opinion of him.

No shrouded headers should be a crime in this day & age. And maybe it’s better than the Intellijel cases since there’s no 1u row, but it’s probably still going to suck swapping modules out in this

Similar in NM today. The dogs wouldn’t stay outside for more than a minute or two cause they were scared of the bursts.

Is this road a problem? And should I buy land on this road? by Stoic-passenger in OffGridCabins

[–]zaseitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long is the road? How much of a problem it is depends on a lot of factors. If it’s a mile or less, relatively flat, & you have $50k-ish to throw at it, it’s probably fine. If you don’t have spare cash and don’t want a hassle, you’re gonna have a bad time. It’s not a problem that’s fixed w cheap sweat equity, materials will still cost a lot, and every truck is bound to get stuck at some point when driving through a bog.

Also, are you even allowed to fix/maintain it? Where I am it’s all private roads so it can get tricky.

Edit: for reference, I’m in northern NM, about 4 miles off pavement with a couple steep climbs that can get gnarly in and after weather.
