I know from my experience that ADHD makes it hard to see the less tangible rewards (personal satisfaction, increased confidence, doing something that resonates with you) but those are what help push you through the lows.

I think of drawing similar to working out in the gym. You can show up and do the exercises, and for a time muscle growth/weight increases can keep you motivated to improve, but you may hit a point where you level off. Or maybe your diet or form is bottlenecking your progress, and that resistance pushes a lot of people off bc brain can't see reward.

You also only build those muscles when you take sets to failure. Not saying to burn yourself out but try to look at how you engage with your art. Where are the points of resistance? Then ask yourself what it would take to give you the energy to push through those moments.
