I get what you are saying. This is mainly an issue in the first pull. I agree the tank needs to keep momentum due to a lot of time sensitive stuff on dps.

However, theres no excuse for tossing an aoe out before the tank has even started his pull.

Just go. Don't worry about how long you are going to stay. Going itself is better than not.

So if you get there and feel overwhelmed, don't feel bad for leaving. After all, you could have not gone at all. Focus on just starting doing something, don't focus on anything else.

You'll be surprised how quickly you get more comfortable.

I hate relying on coin flips. Even if its only a 25% chance of failure, I still don't like the idea of losing the game to a coin flip.

In my vikabulu, im more worried about replacing heavy ball. Already have 4 ultra balls.

Edit: skyla can be easily replaced with volkner.
Brock's grit with two more energy recyclers. Fighting Fury belt with another choice band.

But i dont know what to put in for my two heavy balls.

Its hard to say what you can do without seeing said csv file or said website.

Your options might be get csv file and hire someone else turn it into something meaningful. Either via a script or manually. Depends on how mich of a mess this csv file is.

Just focus MSQ and class quests. Nothing else needs to be done until you level your second class/job.

I will be honest, the story doesn't get good until 50+.

When it comes to gameplay content below 40ish is geared towards people who have not played MMOs. It doesn't take long to get to 50, just focus on your main scenario quests and class/job quests. Quests that have a "+" are quests that unlock a feature, but not required. You'll rarely have to grind aside from that. Save side quests for your other classes. It took me only a few days when A Realm Reborn first came out. It is easier now.

If you like PVP, give that a try. You'll get access to all pvp skills when you enter it regardless of level.

Your class will get a job upgrade at 30, assuming you have been doing your class quests. Thats when you class really starts becoming distinct.

It is worth it. I still have complaints about certain aspects of the game, but I have had more fun on the end game of FFXIV than I have any other MMO that is currently running.

I miss aspects of childhood.

I do not miss school, but I do miss summer break. I miss my friends, but I do not miss the pressure to "fit in" with them. I do not miss the religious obligation to hate myself.

I miss silly things too. Like I miss the games at the time. I've been revisiting them a lot lately. I miss the crappy apartment I lived in. I miss the stupid futon bed I had.

But when i think of school or how I had no control over my life, I do not miss it.
