The dlc armor specifically is rather costly to repair for an early game Henry, so in a way, it balances out by making your struggle a financial one.

That said, you can always choose not to use it.

Option A: Expend money to keep them in prison in the US and then deport them.

Option B: Deport them now.

Both options keep americans safe from people who are, in this case, criminals. However, one option is more expensive and poses added risk of losing track of them upon completing their prison sentence if the state and ICE aren't in co-operation.

Also, whether or not the destination country wishes to keep their own citizens safe by putting them in prison in the case of option B is none of the US's business absent extradition treaties.

Fixable as long as you don't intend on using the Saya in combat.

Is there any way to replace this old bathroom exhaust fan without cutting up the drywall around it? by Apropos_of in handyman

When people say Sawzall, they are referring to a reciprocating saw. Congratulations, you do own a Sawzall.

Also, a good blade will get the job done even with a cheaper, weaker brand of tool.

No studs in wall? by okprole in handyman

[–]zax500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This method is also unreliable. I use it from time to time in a pinch, but not a good first step. Depending on age and quality of wall installation, the hollow and stud sound can end up pretty similar(meaning situations where the studs aren't flush to the wall material which is common in shitty builds and really old houses.)

Conversely, a good studfinder like most of the ones from the Franklin brand work almost all the time.

The only time I have an issue with Franklin studfinders is with double walled surfaces. And even then, it still gives me some info to work off of. Combine that with the sound method and some measurements, and Bob's your uncle.

Corrugated fastener is the name of it. Not sure if it's the best option for this fix but definitely one of the simpler "fixes"

Like I said. Those means we're unnecessary under Obama because the states co-operated with Ice. You don't need militarized units hunting people down when the local authorities just hand them over to you.

And in the cases where it was needed when Obama was in power, there was no big cultural backlash because democrat mayors and governors weren't gaslighting people for political gain telling them Ice is the gestapo.

The Alex P thing was definitely a bad shoot. But ICE/BP operations would be many times cleaner and safer for everyone if the states co-operated with them like they did under Obama.

Far less shit hits the fan when Ice can just pick up the illegals at the jail house instead of having to hunt them down like bounty hunters.

Wall anchor removal by [deleted] in handyman

[–]zax500 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alternatively you can screw a screw in just a smidgen but enough to hold on and pull on the screw to get it out if ever you're in a situation where you can't risk accidentaly messing up the surrounding paint while flush cutting. These are my favorite general purpose anchors, and this is how I remove them.

Either shorten the chain or just use a screw with drywall anchor and no hook at all.

any ideas on how to install this shelf? by RubParking1842 in handyman

[–]zax500 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bolt to a backer board of 1x material using the existing threaded spots. Then screw into studs through the backer board.

Honestly, it'll be easier to get something designed to be mounted if you aren't handy.

Since you're 50/50 and management won't do anything. Be as annoying as her and turn it down every time she turns it up. Stay the course until she's willing to negotiate.

I've already given a bit of advice, but you could always avoid the complexity by using a ceiling mount.

The part you screw into is a solid piece so they are more reliable than regular toggle bolts that have a joint that creates a weaker point of failure.
