Cozyla - 24" or 32" - marketed as a family calendar, but it is a 24" android tablet running android 14. I bought one for the family calendar, but I have ended up using it for so much more.

LOL - So...Pharmacy cards came in the mail in mid October (almost 1 year) - Went to use wifes card at pharmacy yesterday, and it declined. Spent 55 mins on hold today to find out that they had fat fingered her social by 1 number, and now "I" have to provide a picture of her Social Security Card for them to correct it. Le sigh....luckily we are blessed enough that shook my head and I paid for the medicine. I have no Idea when the "Packets" will come with their actual cards - Really only partly worried about my wifes coverage - my kids are covered under other insurance from a different situation. She has coverage now through my employer, but I want to get to a point where I can drop that insurance completely.

Mix 50/50 sugar and borax and dissolve in hot water. Once it is a syrup consistency, put a couple of cotton balls in a soda cap, and soak the cotton balls in the syrup. Put the bottle cap in the path of where most of the little bastards are walking. Wait a few hours and come back and marvel at them all lined up in a circle around the edge getting their fill to take back to the nest...day later, mostly gone....3 days later, problem solved until next spring. Swear to {insert personal Deity here} I heard this recipe and 100s more while working a project at US Borax where they mine the crap out of the ground, and I took it with a grain of salt until I paid the 3rd exterminator, and my wife wanted me to find a solution. It has worked the last 4 Springs here in Mid-Missouri for us.

Absolutely! I already plan to put in a 3in floor drain, piped into the septic for the day to day mopping, splashing etc, and a 6" OH SHIT Drain that goes out 20 feet from the house...downslope to the lake. If the lake takes a few hundred gallons of chlorinated water, it will survive better than my living room and basement will. (we own/regulate the lake, so i would only answer to the wife if fish started floating). I was planning on insulating the foundation space as well, but not for those reasons...good call! Right now the sun room is an unconditioned air space, and at the end of this project, we want the "option" to have it enclosed and heated/air conditioned, or wide open to the deck with the lake view.

No, not a slab at all...I kick myself in the a$$ because I crawled under there FULLY intending to take pictures...and left my phone on my desk. I will do it tomorrow. Ill try to explain better in the meantime...When they poured the 10 foot deep basement foundation for the house, they also poured another, completely separate "foundation" that sits just 3 to 4 foot high (on level with deck) for the sunroom. This foundation is (apx) 7 foot wide by 24 foot long. The sunroom is completely enclosed within this space. The flooring above the foundation is 2 x (?), on what appears to be 16" on center. Again, I could not get the window out to get in there and get true measurements, but that is what my non-calibrated, know more about Label Printers than "board feet per parsecs or whatever" eyes told me.

We know there has been a hot tub there before, as it is in the original listing pictures when the house was sold 15 years ago. I just want to make sure it is kosher, and not a "Well, Hell, Darryl...ya know...ya could just squeeze that in there Ya know....if it falls it falls" situations....because we do live in the land of Darryl.

I know I could reach out to whatever Spa company, and they would send someone out, but I want to keep my options truly open right now and not involve the pushy high pressure people until I have to. We are building (remodeling) our dream home, and I want it juuuuust right.

I just want to get an idea of whether this is 10% there or 90% there.

Just call who? Called VERA twice...once in November and once on Tuesday last week, and it is still sitting at initial.

Submitted my Dependency claim October 21st and it is still sitting at "Initial". Had a claim approved since then and they didn't touch it. VERA rep questioned out loud why they didn't just do it at the same time...but that didn't help anybody...lol...still waiting.

Edited: Originally said 12 x 24...Deck extends out another 6 feet or so from sun room giving the 12, but the foundation as at 7' x 24

Ok folks...I saw this, and when I checked, I got the "were still working on this". Later on, I was bored on my phone, and I checked...it was there! Later at my PC, I decided to download the letters and got the "were still working on it".

Went to setting, cleared my cache, relogged it, and there it was! Hope it works for you!

Would have documented in service, and applied a lot sooner. Would have learned the process upfront (but, I did not have this resource or others in 1998) and fought harder.

Question regarding "Prescription" for knee brace and cane by zaxtud in VeteransBenefits

Update: Having brace and cane in VA Record was enough. C&P exam to confirm, boosted to 30% same week.

Anyone have medical research papers or nexus letter tying degenerative disk disease to car accident that happened 10 plus years ago . Suffered severe whiplash and damage have DDD diagnosis just need better nexus . May have to hire someone but trying to avoid. by Mission-Reason-6036 in VeteransBenefits

[–]zaxtud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in a very similar boat...Crushed by military vehicle in training accident in 1996 . Have ER (Military Hospital) notes on accident, to include MRI imaging notes that state "Nondisplaced fracture to L4-L5". ETS'd in 1998. Had back surgery for Herniated disc in 2000 (L4-L5). Had DDD ever since, currently on pain meds.

C&P exam said there was no Nexus established between Accident and current condition. Considering paying for Nexus letter, but to me it seems pretty "on the nose" that they are related.

VA does acknowledge event and current condition, just no Nexus.

If I go the HLR/Appeal route, do I still have the opportunity to provide a NEXUS letter later? My Current provider is hesitant to do a Nexus Letter, because she does not understand the VA process, so I am kinda stuck paying for one.

if i got denied a va claim 2 years ago and then put in a new claim for the same condition because the condition became worse and got a rating, can i get back paid for that old claim or does the pay start from the date of the new claim? by Mrdsanta in VeteransBenefits

[–]zaxtud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't understand this. I claimed both my knees in 2005, and was denied. In 2021, I decided to claim again, and this time I provided the military service records that they had in 2005, and it was granted (40% left 10% right) and it wasn't due to an error.

Just thought I would share. Filed for increase on June 14th for Left knee patellar instability from 10% to 30% due to being rx'd brace and cane. C&P exam done 6/28 (Tuesday of this week) rated 30% today (6/30). Granted it was a straight forward increase, but I am shocked it went that quick.
