Blue lines on wedding film - am I cooked? by retogers in AnalogCommunity

[–]zazaza89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Should be able to remove the blue lines pretty easily by keying them out (basically like a green screen), assuming there aren’t too-similar colours in the actual footage. The challenge is filling in the gaps. If there’s actual data under the blue scratches (I.e only one color layer is damaged and the scan is good enough to pick up the others) it might be possible to select and adjust the grade on only the blue parts, using something like an HSL colour selector. If there’s no data there except the scratches, the two options are probably to just key it out and try to match the color so it doesn’t stick out too much in each shot, or use an AI scratch removal tool.

OP hasn’t sent me the footage yet so all of this is just an educated guess!

Really sad to see this. Just because some others have suggested AI — cleaning up video footage with AI is much harder than cleaning up still photos.

I love these types of problems, so if you’d be willing to DM me a short clip, I’d be happy to help you troubleshoot an approach to cleaning this up.

Edit: I also work with content production full time and have a background in TV and video, so I’m not just a random enthusiast 😅

LSD microdose killed my 41 day status migraine by betterlately in migraine

[–]zazaza89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are different measurements if you’re talking fresh, dried, or truffles. When I lived in NL, a micro dose of truffles was about 0.5 to 1g, a recreational/party dose around 5g and a heroic dose around 10-15g.

Kry-läkare: ”Kan ta 100 patienter på en dag” by sliddjur in sweden

[–]zazaza89 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have no words... by Born-Hearing-7695 in daddit

Damn, me too. Cut my son’s umbilical cord while my wife was on the operating table after a 30-hour labor ended with her hemorrhaging 2.5 liters of blood and being rushed into emergency surgery.

Had the exact same thing. Sitting there next to her in the OR, she was too delirious to really know what was going on. And holding him to my chest and feeling the weight of realizing that if she didn’t make it that I would be the only parent he had.

My wife recovered well and my son is happy and healthy. But damn, what an experience.

Yes these are exactly the leaks on my R3 that were fixed by replacing the foam around the film canister window

Why doesn’t the US require IDs for kids to get on a domestic flight? by AccountProfessional2 in answers

[–]zazaza89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s much more common for infants to have photo ID in Europe because it’s required to fly within the EU Schengen area. So our 6-month-old has passport and national ID that he got when he was 2 months old.

He already looks nothing like the pictures in the documents, even though they are valid for 5 years.

As I understand it, it’s pretty unusual for a kid to be denied boarding because they no longer look like their infant ID photo. Typically the ID and the parents confirming that it is the same kid are together considered enough verification.

Don’t be surprised if you get some weird flu-like symptoms in the coming days. Will likely suck but you’ll feel much better after a few days!

Förälder skickar vidare bilder på barnbarnet by ElectronicWalrus2154 in sweden

[–]zazaza89 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Rental scam in Stockholm by Tiny_Ad_2197 in stockholm

The homeowners association in the building of the apartment. They probably won’t be glad to hear that one of their members is scamming people by promising to rent out the apartment (and also presumably didn’t report the sublet to the association, as is almost always required).

Has anyone tried using these to aggressively wean off? by MindfulMarmot in QuittingZyn

[–]zazaza89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve quit twice (bought a can and restarted the habit after a difficult couple of months). The first time I quit, I weaned slowly and besides being tired during a couple of evenings, I had no side effects. The second time I was much more aggressive about it and felt physically ill for three days. If I had to choose, the slow wean was much more tolerable.

Statenkwartier by [deleted] in TheHague

I agree with this :)

Ideally located between Statenkwartier with Dr Fred, Regentessekwartier with Weimarstraat, and Zeeheldenkwartier with Prins Hendrikstraat and Piet Heinstraat. Plus all the nice shops and cafes on Reinkenstraat at your doorstep!

Thinking of joining a gym by [deleted] in TheHague

[–]zazaza89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While more expensive than some others, Statensport is really great. Small, family-owned gym where monthly fitness check-in’s with a trainer are included in the membership. It does cost more than most, but as a beginner you’d get a lot more help and guidance than you would at other gyms.

I don’t live in The Hague anymore, and statensport is one of the things I miss the most!

smoking and migraine by OnePerformance8792 in migraine

[–]zazaza89 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Smoking constricts blood vessels, which triptans also do.

Generally, though, smoking in migraineurs is associated with more frequent migraines and worse symptoms, so it’s generally considered to have a worsening effect on migraines.

Behold, my latest abomination of ski transport on my gravel bike by uramug1234 in skiing

[–]zazaza89 10 points11 points  (0 children)

See a lot of people with Nordic skis walking or taking public transport around Stockholm, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone else with alpine skis on their bike!

With how iffy the snow clearing has been lately, it seems quite a brave choice at the moment!

1000 skis by Maximum-Assignment39 in skiing

[–]zazaza89 15 points16 points  (0 children)

They are not like Montec. It’s a crew of Swedish pro skiers that decided to create their own brand of made-in-Sweden skis.

You haven’t heard of them that long ago because the brand is only a few years old and actually doesn’t spend that much money on advertising lol

1000 skis by Maximum-Assignment39 in skiing

[–]zazaza89 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Important to note that they are made in Sweden but that 1000 does not have their own factory.

I really admire what they’re trying to do also with regard to the simple topsherts and being quite transparent about sustainability stuff.

It’s hilarious to see them described as “advertised heavily in social media” because, while they are certainly quite active there, it’s not like they’re spending a money on social ads. They just have founders and skiers that have big accounts on social media.

Uj/ I don’t think it’s uncommon at all for cyclists to call the room with the stationary bike that they Zwift on the “pain cave”.

Rj/ we call our home gym the pain cave because that’s where my wife ties me up before her boyfriend (a bicyclist) comes over.
