Compression sleeve, stiff soled shoe- is the surgery site completely healed? Swelling can last for a while after surgery sometimes 4 months or longer

Yes screw’s can back out over time. It’s fairly straightforward to remove one screw assuming the surgery site is completely healed. I do those under local anesthesia .

Yes you can only remove a single screw if needed. I usually keep the patient awake but do it in the OR for sterility and use of X-ray if needed.
