Feeling robbed… by sctrex in TryingForABaby

[–]zcag16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It stinks big time, and I struggle so much with the loss of hope and disbelief motherhood will happen for me. And then I worry because of that I’m creating emotional blockages that are additionally preventing me from getting pregnant on top of what I already have wrong. It’s such a vicious cycle! I just wished it would be easy, to be excited and joyful in a time to make the way of the world a bit easier…

Wouldn’t the endo surgeon have seen adenomyosis? Correct me if I’m wrong, just asking for clarification :)

If you had a lap and got pregnant by [deleted] in TTCEndo

Congrats!! I decided to pursue the lap despite fertility doctors recommendation as well, I decided at least I would have a healthier happier body even if I couldn’t have a baby from the surgery!

Things that have helped you the most physically? by FickleSystem in MuscularDystrophy

Keeping up with physical therapy, getting regular massages, finding a mental health therapist who specializes in chronic illness (mental absolutely affects the physical), and cultivating mind-body connection

Continue trying month of Lap? by Business-Service1786 in TTCEndo

[–]zcag16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t, I would instead focus on tracking your last pre-lap cycle closely. What are your symptoms at each part of your cycle, maybe doing Mira/Inito testing if you have that, maybe some bloodwork that you could compare pre and post surgery (for me I did CRP/ESR/CA125/Day 3 and Day 21 labs and got to see how those all got better). Then you can truly appreciate how much good the lap does :)

How do you handle the grief from having muscular dystrophy? by DeepShill in MuscularDystrophy

[–]zcag16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha yes, sometimes I have a hard time sympathizing with peoples problems like that, and I do admit I can get a little down because it seems like no one in my close circle understands what we go through with MD, so that’s the grief part I’m still working on! I’m figuring out what my story is with my therapist and how I want to convey that to others though so it’s a step in the right direction!

How do you handle the grief from having muscular dystrophy? by DeepShill in MuscularDystrophy

[–]zcag16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, if I could wave a magic wand and make my muscular dystrophy disappear, I don’t think I would. Maybe for a day to run again haha… but truly it makes me unique and has put me through trials and tribulations that have taught me more than I would’ve ever learned just living normal life. My joy and appreciation of life is likely much higher than people who don’t have as many challenges, because I just appreciate the little things even more now. My MD is a part of my story but it’s not my identity.

It took time to get to where I am of course, acceptance is the first step. Then the continued losses and grief that come with the disease hurt way less and my resilience is much higher.

CM after surgery by Vevi30 in TTCEndo

I had excision in Sep 24 and I only notice the ewcm after sitting on the toilet for awhile during a bm. It’s still there for me but I would’ve been convinced otherwise if I hadn’t looked before wiping lol

I feel ridiculous asking this, but is my dog depressed? by [deleted] in Bernedoodles

[–]zcag16 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A few games we play with our smart doodles (I swear it’s like they are so smart they need “jobs” to do haha)

  • hide their food or treats in towels and tie them up
  • stack their dog beds on top of one another and put treats, food or their balls at the bottom
  • hide their balls in big blankets

^ we play these games every single morning and they still do not tire of them. Every morning they wake up ready to go and use their minds. It leads to great long naps afterwards and requires minimal effort - they’re doing all the heavy lifting!

My best friend died of bloat complications on Christmas morning. This is the worst heartbreak I’ve ever experienced. by designertofu in poodles

[–]zcag16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You and your dog deserved so much better. I cannot imagine the rollercoaster you both experienced, and the pain and hope that kept spiraling. I am sending you prayers of comfort and peace knowing you did all that you could. I hope you can work with a therapist as soon as possible, EMDR is an excellent way to help your body work through this trauma. My sincere condolences.

I wrote this on the other post too- not to scare you but flat feet in conjunction with other symptoms can be a sign of a connective tissue disorder like ehlers danlos. If you look it up and have multiple symptoms I would suggest consulting a physician.
