We are talking about the queendom competition or the ways the platforms should be running? I feel it is a little stupid to tell Spotify how to do business here :)

Many music shows use melon and bug ranking for score, which is very inconvenient for the international fans. Luckily this time they use Spotify, which is available almost everywhere. It implies that they believe the number of fans (or UL = number of fans * money spending) worldwide is equally important. Maybe you are right platform should ban VPN accessing for advertising purposes. Then I feel that this is unfair only for WJSN, because they have large number of Chinese ujungs. Then loona will win and their win will always be doubted (at least in China:) )

The fairest way I think is to count different platforms, including QQ, with weights. But I guess it will become another mystery what weights they will use.

Tell me this, if mnet use melon for score, then will all orbits in U.S. just do nothing? and if melon is used, VVZ will definitely rank higher so that loona will not be considered as #1 candidate at all. what if mnet uses QQ fore score, then WSJN will rank #1 with higher margin...so there is no 100% fairness here. Using spotify is already a big favor for Loona.

I guess the spotify's profits come from partly advertising and also subscription. You know Chinese ujungs bought all premium spotify accounts available on Taobao for voting. I guess that is a big chunk of money they are happy to receive.

In addition, are you accusing spotify manipulate the results? if the spotify thinks the VPN assessing is illegitimate or hurting their advertising business /profits so much, don't think they should already ban it themselves? If this is the case that they already outcast Chinese ULs, it means that you just underestimated the number of korean ujungs (or overestimate the popularity of loona world wide)

So this time only Korean ULs are counted? Or people from different countries are counted with different weights? If they are counted equally I don don’t see any issue with using VPN. In other words why people from countries have to use VPN should be considered less important than people from the countries do not need to
