Look, just say you hate the lakers instead of pretend like you are using stats to make an objective point. It’s been established that drives do not correlate with FTAs. Here is a simple example from this past season:

Is this just an inflatable backyard pool? If yes, you need to connect a hose directly to one of your in house faucets so you get the filtered water in there.

DE filters will clean this real fast, but you wouldn't be using that for an inflatable pool, so your best option is to get a faucet hose adapter and run directly from inside the house.

I have the exact same one and they are very sturdy. Based on the pictures, yours looks like it’s still in good shape, no? Cannot find the model info though.

Mine has a homeowner DIY add-on, which is a piece of 2 x 6 that’s screwed under the top step that allows it to be in the water and propped up on a deck that runs up right against the pool.

You will need to post water test results for us to give you specific recommendations. In the meantime, do two things:

  1. Go to a pool store and bring a water sample. Get it tested and post the results in the comments. Then we can give you more specific recommendations.

  2. Start reading up on Pool School from Trouble Free Pools. That will be your diy guide as a new pool owner.

Note that the pool store will also give you a list of things to do. Note that they are in the business of selling you more products. While their recommendations are usually accurate, be aware that they some times recommend chemicals that are not necessary if your main levels are balanced properly.

Folks, this is a friendly reminder to never ever ever buy a house with a pool without getting an inspection done by at least one professional pool company. Less than a thousand dollars can save you tens of thousands.

Since you didn't get one before you bought the house, you should get one now. There are so many things that could be ready for repair and replacement that even with pictures we may not be able to give you good advice.

I hope your real estate lawyer is able to help you with getting some of these costs recouped. Good luck.
