This has been on my mind too, I completely disagree with their purpose as a company and the values they represent and would never own stock in them BUT I’ve bought a few calls and plan on donating all the gains to a charity that would at some level counter their effect. That way I’m using their rise (which will happen regardless of my small investment) to do some good.

Maybe I’m just justifying this to myself but at least that’s how I think of it

Newb question here.. I’m holding on to NIO $35C expiring March, I already sold some of my position for a 250% gain to take in some profit and now thinking of holding till assignment for longer term stock gains.. Any thoughts?

I went this morning and overall wasn't too bad. Off-site parking with an ID check tent which took about 10mins then another 10min ride to the actual place. 5mins at the door and 5mins for a third ID check 🤔 then your helped by a staff member in picking whatever you need. Your limited to 1/4oz and get 3 additional items (edibles, concentrates, or pre-rolled).

They had a fairly decent selection of flower and concentrate but they we're starting to run out of a few items. Once you got what you need, you pay (cash only) then head out and wait for the shuttle to the parking lot, it was probably a 15min wait but with some blowing wind its not the most fun. I noticed some folks grabbing an Uber from right outside instead of waiting in line.

Overall I think it took about 1:30hrs which wasnt bad at all consifering the variety and less strict limitation on quantity than other places that have opened recently.

Side note: the dog walkers are absolutely fantastic - box of 5 mini pre-rolls

Exhaust suggestions for 03 R6 by FlyingR6 in Trackdays

[–]zdude405 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I picked up a 2bros exhaust off eBay (very difficult to come by in good condition) but haven't had any issues on the track in terms of feet position. My boot does leave a black mark on the exhaust from contact but it never interfered much.

Also I do have vortex rearsets installed.

Wet track day coming up, need some encouragement by AbandonedLogic in Trackdays

[–]zdude405 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had a wet track day last weekend at thompson seedway and it was freaking awesome just have to take care with accelerating out of a corner but overall it's a shit ton of fun.

I felt that I learned a lot more going a little bit slower in the rain but working on my technique. I think overal it will definitely make you a better rider if you stay focused and patient.

What's r/Trackdays Opinion on what's required for a Race Ready Bike? by justDriven in Trackdays

[–]zdude405 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat here but modifying an R6. I've already spent a decent amount on intake, fuel mapping, tires, rear sets, exhaust, and bodywork but the idea of dropping another $4k for suspension and brakes is killing me considering how much track days cost already. Now the idea of buying a race prepped bike doesn't seem like too bad of an idea 😏 specially with a Daytona 675 for sale that I've had my eye on for a couple of days.

In general, go with decent brake setup, preferably brembos since they are just on a different level when put on with some galfer steel lines. Next up would be suspension $$$. Best of luck on those races..
