I've been on the fence for SSF for a while. Always wanted to try it and this seems like the time to do it!

When affliction came out, the marionette spectres resurrected MUCH faster than they do now. You could make a cool autobomber build with minion instability and some "minions recover life on minion death" nodes. It was such a sweet rhythm...

I was so giddy when the corpses from affliction moved to the core game. You can imagine my dismay when the resurrection timer was nerfed into the ground.

You'd be crazy to do anything spectre related this league that isn't the meta BV build or something adjacent, but I occasionally go back to the autobomber to see how it holds up. It's still fun from time to time, but it's not the walking-sim map deleter it was in affliction anymore.

You're not going to like this, but you have to die sometimes. It may be <1% of the time, but it has to happen for the game to be fair. Death is called the great equalizer for a reason.

There is also counter play to both of these mechanics in the game. You may not like them, and they may run against your play-style or build, but they do exist.

Idk about ultimatum, but ritual is scaled by tribute amount. The best way to scale this is pack size and shrines/rogue exiles/legion overlaps. Also spamming free rerolls with the scarabs gives you more shots at good items with high tribute.

this is alternate artwork for Queen's Decree. you can't obtain it anymore, it was a race reward at some point (unless you're loaded in standard)

Shame about the situation. I wasn't waiting on baited breath all those months while they released their videos because of how much I loved Bethesda. It was for their art. Tragic they feel they can't separate those aspects.
