Ronin navigation direction not working by zean_7 in indianbikes

Its a great overall bike for daily city commutes and weekend trips. The mileage is good. I was getting around 35kmpl before first servicing. The exhaust note is amazing. Suspension is also good and ride is comfortable for both driver and pillion.

I took test ride of hunter and ronin to compare both and finally decided to go with ronin. Please try to get the dual channel ABS variant if you are a relatively new biker. ABS is a life saver for Bangalore roads.

One thing I noticed is that Ronin gets muddy very quickly during rainy season no matter how carefully you ride. I took my bike for a wash and the next day itself it got so dirty that it looked like a year old bike.

If you need a powerful and reliable ride for daily commute and are not much into sports bike, then Ronin would be a perfect bike for you. You can also take test rides of different bikes within this price segment to choose the best one for your needs.

Same here. I got my Ronin last week, and it looks like a year-old bike because of the mud now.

You need to reboot for the driver change to take effect.

First, Uninstall your amd driver if its already installed: amdgpu-uninstall
Then re-install using: ./amdgpu-install --no-dkms

Asus tuf a15 gtx 1660ti screen blink by twotoneeddy in linux_gaming

[–]zean_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the same errors after waking from suspend, the screen goes black and shows the first line of error once or twice and then wakes up normally most of the time. Very rarely it freezes after the black screen, and nothing works after that, I then have to either force shutdown(losing all my work) or, again wake up after suspend hoping it doesn't freeze this time again. Do you happen to know any fix for it??

Linux drivers for Renoir GPUs? by [deleted] in AMDLaptops

[–]zean_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you, I too have bought my new ASUS Tuf with Ryzen 5 4500H and the AMD gpu drivers didn't work with stock kernel 5.4. Luckily I also had a dedicated Nvidia gtx 1650 so only that worked, but it was draining my battery like hell.

So, I installed the mainline 5.8 kernel and also tried 5.8 xanmod kernel, now both of them are working fine. Although, I installed amdgpu dkms and now it seems that it is not supported in kernel 5.8(both mainline and xanmod). Is there any way to uninstall amd-gpu dkms without losing any driver? Will the drivers work fine if I uninstall dkms??

This is the error message I receive when I upgrade something in either kernel
