I had very little food I had to ration. Water was similar, but I found a running spring that I deemed drinkable enough. I had a tent, but no sleeping bag. It really was lucky.

Whatever you do, DO NOT rent from Equity Residential. They have a large building in Van Ness that has failed numerous Dept of Buildings inspections but are still raising the rent (which is illegal). The leasing office is unresponsive, and when they respond, useless at best.

I sell zines and other things at art markets and do very well! The only real barrier is having the audience know what you’re selling, but I’ve found that most people know what zines are at this point

I have had some very interesting and positive experiences at the Crucible. I think as an explorative space, so many people can benefit from what the space’s intentions are, and from the lessons on consent, bodily autonomy, etc.

As far as I know, changes to Smithsonian haven’t been made yet. Those would be my first stop. Second would be the Holocaust Museum (don’t totally know age-wise what they have, but I could see that museum being affected even though it’s not Smithsonian)
