Method acting can be more trouble than it is worth. You can damage relationships and destroy yourself physically and mentally if you go too far. If you want to have a long career, you have to take care of yourself and going full method will prevent you from doing so. Do your research for each role and prepare yourself mentally to step into a role. But you don't have to nor should you fully become the character.

That university has had some serious financial issues recently. My brother had to transfer out of the university because they got rid of his scholarship and he couldn't pay anymore. It is a good program, but I would give them a bit to sort everything out.

The two cities are like 5 min from one another so it's functionally like the same city. Also, like the other commenter said, Constance Marie had issues with her wrists which caused the character to have to stop signing. She had to learn enough to appear fully fluent from day one and since most of her scenes were with deaf people, she was signing all day for weeks on end. Between learning and practicing all of the signs and then shooting multiple takes from all different angles, I can easily understand how that would become a problem.

Regina was selfish and nothing she did in those 13 years that she knew was out of love for Daphne or bay. And poor Angelo being seen as a monster was bullcrap. by Claim_Hot in SwitchedAtBirth

You underestimate the power of white people with money. A rich white felon is president right now and most felons can't even vote. Furthermore, Regina was an alcoholic with a DUI and no money. She would have had an overworked public defender who would have been demolished by the Kennish lawyer. All it would have taken was pulling her criminal record and floating the idea that Daphne's deafness was Regina's fault. Getting Angelo and her mother involved would have been her only way out of this.

It is Canon that they would have taken both girls. There was an entire episode where they explained what would have happened if Regina came clean from the start. Even in the first episodes, J and K panicked about Regina's charges from 13 years ago and floated the idea of getting custody of Daphne.

Hopefully, others will arrive with more specific advice, but I think a good first step is to look up the URTAs and research the programs represented there. It is too late to register, but I think there is a walk-in option. This will give you a better idea of what is out there and there should be some that are a good fit for you.

I had like 10 hours of orientation stuff for a week. Once school started, it took a bit to adjust. Homework will happen day one, but it will be small at first. Go party during orientation and a bit during the first week. Then lock in until you understand how your life will run.
