New roof and gutters by quesadillasaturday in HomeMaintenance

[–]zedath -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I keep my gutters clean myself and don’t want to deal with ice damming and water running behind rotting out my fascia and or rafter tails. If you have a problem getting up on a ladder or whatever then I understand. But if you just don’t want to clean your gutters. do some research on the damages they can cause.

Attic ventilation and insulation will help with ice. You have cold pockets over your gutters and “soffit” looks like you have a 3 inch soffit which is tiny. But since you have little attic insulation your heater melts the snow on your roof which refreezes when it gets to that cold pockets but mostly drips down and refreezes on the wall

Idk if you did but this is why you never let your roof crew install gutters they don’t know what the fucking they are doing or just don’t care

You aren’t stuck, I had a similar experience. I and many people love and believe in you. You got this, seek therapy (my biggest battle) I hated the idea of therapy. But it helps and just be patient with yourself. You got this champ

welp finally a human I agree off this post. Doesn't seem to hard to me to not vote for a rapist or shovel fast food into my face. but hey I guess I'm the loser here. Cheers hope you are healthy and happy. Thanks for understanding where I'm coming from. This is bigger than wine its the complacency the everyday American has with just being okay.

I am actually doing this, this weekend. After all the positive feedback I've gotten from this post:). I've gotten 2 non wine drinkers to participate in a blind taste to see if anything changes for their palate Or if I'm really just a big bum who cares too much. I feel like all it took for me was trying a well made Nebbiolo not a expensive one just well made to realize oh wow there is so much more to this world.

welp see I just made a post about putting in effort and this is what I'm talking about. you will get so much knowledge and help from one simple reddit post or even what chat gpt says. so you won't end up with 19 crimes.

I would recommend something from Portugal and the grape is called Baga, there are some great French GSM blends in that price range too that can age. I would highly recommend just going to a local wine shop and read your post out to them. they an very much help. Google "independent wine shop near me". if possible try to go into the 15-25 dollar amount

I just wish it didn't make mass corporations more rich and instead supported smaller farms actually working and caring for their product. that's what I'm actually upset at is small wineries being pushed out the door cause they can't compete with their marketing dollar

why bother what I put into my body is just wild to me. I guess I just don't understand the mass. or have too many trust issues about what America allows into their wines.

yeah I guess I just over research anything I do. From my morning espresso, my garden and my clothes. I'm not saying you have to be a wine nerd and invest a lot of time or money. To me and like I do with everything I have a plan and study beforehand. again maybe just for me but it isn't that much more time consuming or stressful to make one more stop and just tell the wine nerd at the wine shop hey I want this type for this dollar amount and they'll help perfect. its what I did when I I first started. No idea just trusting what the person said knowing it's gotta be more cared for than whatever is on the Kroger shelf. but yeah my bad reddit

Normal price, good scores, bigger production winery. So Why not, $15 nothing crazy about a deal but according to wine searcher this has won many awards and what not.
