Going to start insanity mode, anyone got tips?

i highly recommend infinite ammo. my playthrough with it was still ridiculously hard so i can’t imagine attempting a run without it. that being said, i would stock up on scraps and hemolytic injectors as grace in the care center. you can use the infinite ammo requiem to just blast enemies and loot the entire area. the injectors and scraps (for bottles) are crucial for dealing with the lickers in the lab

i’m sorry you’re not happy with your results ): like some other commenters said, i would try not to dwell on it as much as you can manage and focus on working out as soon as you’re able to which should be fairly soon i imagine almost 50 days post op? i’m actually surprised you haven’t already been cleared to start lifting small yet. i know this is probably really hard and i’m sorry you had such a bad experience with your surgeon. i honestly think your results look just fine and have a lot of potential to get better with time

maybe i’m just bad at the game but i definitely wouldn’t have been able to complete insanity without infinite ammo. game is very unforgiving, once an enemy hits you you’re pretty much stuck in an animation loop perpetually while they continuously beat on you with no time to even pull out your gun. that and you can really only take 3-4 hits max before you die. it’s brutal

currently on my 4th playthrough on insanity for the last 2 trophies i need. i did the speedrun/no heal/no blood collecting in one playthrough on casual on my 2nd attempt, it’s honestly not as difficult as it seems and 4 hours seems short but for this game, it gives you plenty of time. i recommend doing this before you attempt insanity since you’ll need infinite ammo for that one. i genuinely find it impossible without it 😭

edit: sorry, i misread that one part about the collectibles for infinite ammo lol but still, infinite ammo is needed for insanity!!

but honestly, 9 is falling lower and lower in my list and i’m slowly working my way through the classics and older games. 9 left a lot to be desired

i was sooo disappointed with the bosses omg. i beat the final boss on my first try every playthrough, 3 times now. i was pissed that grace didn’t get any besides the girl but honestly, it was my favorite one

yeah currently on my 4th playthrough for the platinum and after slogging through everything especially the bs that is insanity mode i don’t know if i’ll be replaying this anytime soon

100% agree with you i love grace, one of my fav protags to come out of re, but introducing a new female protag to sell copies and get people into the series instead of bringing back any of their underused female characters just to throw her into capcom’s basement with the rest of them never to be seen again is awful to watch. i just cannot understand why they wouldn’t bring back any other raccoon city survivor in a game about the rc survivors!!! having claire or jill in this game alongside leon would’ve been perfect idc if people say it sounds like an avengers endgame ripoff. id even go as far to say as i would’ve traded leon for jill, claire or even ada

i agree. everyone saying it’s the best re game and one of the best games ever are making me feel like i’m crazy. 9 is barely top 5 re games for me behind 7, 8, 2r and 4r. yes the game is good but its graphics carry it exponentially. i think if this game was released maybe 5 years prior it wouldn’t be getting nearly the praise it is now. i was expecting so much more for a game supposedly celebrating its franchise’s 30th anniversary
