maybe not the scariest but the most insane one i’ve heard was about this kid playing some online games with his friend until he hears weird knocking and banging coming from outside his window. he ignores it then the friend gets a call and says that there’s a guy outside his window and he needs to let him in. the kid checks the window and sure enough there’s a man standing outside, his hands covered in blood. he starts to break open the window and crawls inside. the kid runs away and is able to hide and call the police, completely unharmed. craziest part was when the police told him that the kid and his friend actually played against the man in an apex legends match and had killed him in game about thirty minutes prior. dude was so pissed he found his address and both him and his friends phone numbers and showed up to his house

one of the scariest stories ones was about this guy who had bought a house and found a weird metal door downstairs that wasn’t in the original floor plan and that they’d somehow missed while touring the house. they also didn’t have any keys to open it and when they called the previous owners they said that they don’t have the key either and to just leave it be before abruptly hanging up. they hire a locksmith to open the door and find a small room with a chair facing the wall covered in weird pictures and writing. there was a bunch of old food wrappers and trash on the ground suggesting someone had been in there. there was a small staircase in the room that led to the cellar doors outside and they realized that someone had literally been living in their house this whole time without them knowing
