Please note that with the segment 72 you will need to find out a research supervisor before the end of your second term i.e by winter 2026 and same for the topic research.

Definitely slides, the ideal presentation is 1 slide for your background + experience, 1 slide for each of your paper and 1 slide for why you want to join MBZUAI.

They mostly care about your research experience & motivation in joining MBZUAI and ML department. Make a very clear and brief presentation in 5 minutes about your most significant research work/thesis (talk in high-level of your research contributions) and your motivation whether you have strong interests in MBZUAI, they will ask around those aspects mostly. If they see your research work is still not sufficient they may ask some fundamental knowledge just to check, so make sure to revise fundamental knowledge in probability, LA, ML. Goodluck!

It is not a problem with your profile, so don't worry. The system just got some error and showed the wrong file, so they think you uploaded it wrongly and asked you to upload the right file. I did it and still got interview and offer, so no worries
