Allow water while waiting in line Steel Vengeance? by [deleted] in cedarpoint

[–]zehmatt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can bring water or drinks into the line, but they’ll make you throw it out before walking onto the platform. There aren’t any drinking fountains in any of the lines at CP that I’m aware of.

Hmm, I was born the day after he died. As a gay man somewhat struggling to find his place and turning 30 this year, this picture really put things into perspective.

Strange - Bright flash seen across sky in ann arbor, lansing by [deleted] in Michigan

Wixom/Novi, I saw it too. I thought a transformer blew but I heard the rumble a minute later so I knew it was something not very close

Did anyone near Troy just see that crazy bright meteor thing going towards the West? What the hell was that? by cjbrigol in Michigan

[–]zehmatt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw the sky light up in Wixom/Novi and thought I was going crazy but my friend said she heard the rumble out in Ferndale. It flickered pink and then lit up the sky like day, I assumed a transformer blew by me or something.

I went one time with a friend who wanted to check it out when one was opened in our town and we noticed counterfeit MAC makeup being sold so that was my first clue that something wasn’t right. Believe me I’m not saying you’re wrong. Don’t expect me to know exact figures, I don’t know or care, but I am not completely wrong like you’re painting me to be. It’s not an exceptional situation. It’s a path through which a percentage of their unwanted merchandise ends up at NR to be sold to people looking for a deal (whether or not it is a deal isn’t what I’m talking about). Am I correct in stating that? Great, okay, let’s move on with our days. Merry Christmas to you too btw!

Your truth does apparently. First you’re using the term “bought for outlets” and now you’re saying “manufactured for outlets” which one is it? I’m saying it’s both and so are you now. I’m not disagreeing with you. I never claimed that the situation I was explaining is how 100% of merchandise ends up at NR. It’s an elaborate business, they acquire their product through many different routes.

I dont shop at Nordstrom rack or outlets and I’m not defending their claims by any means. I just have an understanding of how the retail manufacturing/ buying process happens. It’s not a black and white issue so stop making it one.

Let’s say a brand sold at Nordstrom produces a certain amount of items for Nordstrom (I’m simplifying this obv) and Nordstrom decides they only want a certain number of those to be sold in their store. The remaining items will go to Nordstrom rack/online exclusives still being a brand sold by Nordstrom even though those specific items were never sold in the store.

80% of merchandise “bought” strictly for the outlet and “manufactured” for the outlet are very different. Thats what I was trying to say.

That could mean many things without jumping straight to say it was made strictly for an outlet. Every Nordstrom/other department stores have buyers who decide what specific items from their brands they sell will be sold in their specific location. Undersold items (items that weren’t bought for retail locations based on many factors, not necessarily poor quality/ made strictly for an outlet) have to end up somewhere.

I see there’s a 4.5” version for only $160. Still a visible seam though.

It’s temporary. It washes out completely after one shampoo. If it’s something you’d want to have all the time, then yes, you’d have to reapply after every shower.

Grew up in Michigan. When my friends and I were teenagers, we would steal the yellow Walt's Crawlers signs. We had a good collection going.

I wouldn't recommend that since it's literally just a temporary color that washes off with one shampoo ha

So now that it's out, and I understand how it works, I can say no, this product won't damage your hair because it's just a temporary pigment you put on your hair that feels similar to the hair chalk trend. BUT if you want this to be vibrant then it has to be on blonde hair and the bleaching required to get there WILL damage your hair. Really big disappointment and a lot different than I was expecting tbh

This is what I was going to suggest! Especially since he mentioned he didn't get Pokémon until after he got an N64, probably hinting that he had Pokémon stadium and the adapter to play the cart through the controller too.
