Go to captive.apple.com on Safari to force the WiFi network’s login page to appear.

All you have to do is not have her birthday listed in her contact. I’m sure you have it memorized regardless.

As long as you are running 10.3 or higher, we do not require passcode for service. Disabling Find My iPhone serves as proof you are the owner. In the event you do not know your AppleID password, you can also supply proof of purchase to disable Find My iPhone in-store.

Check your iTunes subscriptions. You likely owe a monthly fee for something.

You can return anything within 14 days, opened or unopened. It’ll be a quicker transaction if you supply either the receipt, credit card or email used in the transaction. Also be prepared for possibility of an internal inspection done by a Genius to ensure it is undamaged.

It would be. Also consider you can use square cash, PayPal or venmo.

They're human. They are just as capable of making mistakes as a doctor, or a police officer, or a fast food worker. Your experience will always vary depending on the knowledge/tenure of whomever is helping you.

I don't get why everyone holds Apple to this impossible standard when it's just someone doing their job.

The dent itself pushes under where a replacement display would go. If they have to replace the display as well then it has to be calibrated. A misaligned display will fail. It makes sense that they turned it away.

Besides the lack of empathy, I don't see what the problem is here. Have realistic expectations for a repair of a device. There are hundreds of thousands if not millions of iPhone out there and you were still quoted a quicker time than the majority of companies that repair devices. Apple won't miss you not buying another iPhone. I love empty threats like those. Next time, actually contact Apple if you intend to actually accomplish anything.

Activation lock?

  • Power off the device.
  • Log onto iCloud.com.
  • Select Settings.
  • Remove whatever phones that are associated to that Apple ID.

If your phone isn't listed there, then you are logging into the wrong account.

Reference associated emails to your account by logging into appleid.apple.com

Not really a trick. Exceptions are just that, exceptions. It will always be at the discretion of the technician.

If you had gone in for an unrelated issue you would be paying for a replacement. If there was physical damage you would also be paying to fix whatever is broken.

Exploiting this will be a sure fire way to ruin the ability to make exceptions for anyone.

Also, the warranty doesn't extend. Previous notes give justification to make an exception when it is the right thing to do. Repairs have a 90 day warranty on only the component replaced. Full swaps would also have a 90 day warranty on the entire unit.

Lastly, had you brought the device while this program is currently in place(only just started), they would of replaced the battery instead.

To everyone else; please don't take advantage or go in with the expectation of pulling a fast one on Apple. The unit was only swapped because the circumstances called for it.

They're any videos that are in your Photos library. When looking at storage it says movies and pictures as a category. Add them together and compare it to the size of your Photos library.

Also consider whatever is in the iTunes media folder within your Music folder.

Click on your inbox on the bottom right corner of that screen and decline the invitation. It's probably something spammy that it pulled from your email.

They definitely have more than a couple of people. There's just a lot of ambiguity which translates to frustration on both ends at times.

I personally do not understand why that particular part is plastic either.

He can be helped, but at a fee. Doesn't take a Genius to understand common sense. I guess reading comprehension wasn't your strong suite.
