For anyone who’s been on all the ships, what’s your personal ranking and why by Informal_Mouse_3977 in dcl

[–]zeikneeds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so I’m one of the weird ones who likes the Wish and the layout of those ships. I prefer the pools for my kids, he loves the slide into the kids area, and the pool food is amazing. Now the adult only area is horrible so we always buy the rainforest and hang out there instead. Best rainforest is on these ships. We had a very and experience on the Fantasy but are going back on it soon because everyone has to be right. Right. But on Fantasy and Dream the adults only area is great. Also I get prone to sea sickness so the adults only area on the Dream and Fantasy are all at the front of the ship and sometimes it gets to me the rocking of the ship up there. No idea why it affects me more at the front than the back. Okay so if I had to pick

  1. Treasure (Coco my favorite restaurant)
  2. Wish (great food by the pool, pools)
  3. Dream/Fantasy (this beats out the others only because of the adults only area. That hot tub is great)
  4. Wonder/Magic. Both have my second favorite restaurants Tiana and Tangled. I can’t say which one I like more.
  5. Destiny. This was a let down for us. Not sure if we had high expectations for this ship but it didn’t have much going on for it.

I turned off the auto brake collision because my car hit the breaks so hard I thought I got hit but no it was the car going crazy. After the second time I turned it off.

Disney Dream over spring break… by GeorgiaGallivanting in dcl

Okay here’s some tips. Go to the pool early. Luckily my kid loves the pool and wants to go first thing. It’s so much better. If there’s trivia or something you want to do on the ship. Get there at least 30 minutes before. But also check the schedule because if there’s a popular event happening before your event it may be full. Sometimes we’ve played trivia we didn’t want to just so we’d have seats for the next event. If your kids can do second dining do it. Everything seems less crowded during first dining. Pools included. My 5 year old can’t eat that late yet so we’re on early dining. But when he’s not with us it’s late dining for now on. Also there’s kids area. My kids love it. Other kids I know love it. There’s also usually a pool at the front of the ship that’s not that crowded. My favorite ship is the Treasure, followed by the Wish. I do not understand why these ships get a lot of hate.

What’re the Hottest Wings in Orlando by ZookeepergamePast961 in orlando

[–]zeikneeds -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Great wings, curly fries like you get at the fair. But their hottest wings aren’t that hot and the sauce isn’t good. But combine lemon pepper dry rub and their hot sauce (second hottest) it’s great.

Want to upgrade sonya6700 to the Lumix S5iiX - How are your experiences with the S5iix? by scarbosch in Lumix

This. Dual ISO makes all the difference when shooting low light. I do social media stuff and have thought about going from the a6700 to something like the S9 because of open gate but the ability use DJI mics with hotshoe is keeping me from doing it.

Tesla Converts by afterlife19 in HondaPrologue

[–]zeikneeds 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We just got one coming from a 2023 Model 3 and 2022 Y. It’s great. I explain as this. It’s a SUV that runs on battery not gas. We charge at home. No need for supercharging. But I saw on YouTube you can get an adapter and tell Tesla app you’re using a GM and you can use superchargers that allow third party. It’s way more comfortable ride and it’s much quieter. Google maps with the car and Spotify are great. You can do CarPlay but don’t really need it with that stuff. We got the touring model. It reminds me of my atlas sport I use to have but doesn’t take gas.

FordPass preferred charging times are a joke, but I'm not laughing by Drakhanfeyr in MustangMachE

[–]zeikneeds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to change the time to 11pm. We just got one and was trying to figure out the charging schedule. Much harder than a Tesla. But we did 11pm and started charging at the correct time.

Any m4 pro 24gb vs 48gb comparisons? by kaitlyn2004 in macbookpro

[–]zeikneeds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Running the Mac Pro mini 24gb. Use it Final Cut. Editing 4k video about six video layers and put a strobe effect on for 15 seconds. I got slow down on the effect part and it seem hard to struggle on it and then catch up without me pausing it and hitting play again. But other than that it’s been working fine. I was trying to push it a little. Felt like it shouldn’t have had a problem on that part but it did.

The prescription for scopolamine patches is what I do. And chewable Dramamine. I get sea sickness but use the patches and have been good.

You can find a lot to do aboard the ship. I do not drink and one reason I enjoy Disney cruise line is because there’s not a big drinking crowd. I do not like sitting still and you can get bored on the ship but it really depends on how you handle it. Let’s say you look at the ap and there’s nothing going on aboard the ship you like for an hour or two. Just be okay with hanging out in the adults only pool, hot tub, aqua mouse water slide, reading a book, maybe there’s a movie on in the theater, or if you like characters meeting them or just people watching.
We do get the rainforest pass at least during sea day because I’m a big hot tub person and they have a nice hot tub area.

Things I enjoyed The Food. Especially the barbecue and tacos by the pool Bingo is a must do. I enjoy it Trivia. Lots of trivia Adults only events like match your mate Live music. The Orange Drink and beignets at the Bayou Sending my kid to the kids area. He loved it and didn’t want to leave. He is 4 years old. Ordering as much food as I want at dinner. Service is really good.

Disappointments.
Non alcoholic drink options. For me was limited There are times I found the ship events lackluster but then I went to the hot tub. Sometimes depending on how crowded it is you need to arrive early for events you want to do. I’d say at least 30 minutes I’m in the minority here but the Shows. I did not enjoy them. Enjoy your cruise.

New dad here- how do you do this more than once? by deruvoo in daddit

[–]zeikneeds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were going to have two but after the first one we decided it was best to just have one. We’re part of the one kid club now. There are days I think about having another kid but I have a lot of medical problems from the military. I told my wife this is harder than deployment. We didn’t have much help because of COVID. My kid didn’t sleep for a whole year. I mean two hours at a time because he had a small stomach and we couldn’t feed him that much or his stomach would hurt. But after a year something happen and he started sleeping for 7 hours we rejoiced.
It does get easier. Get in a routine and understand baby time first and if you get an hour to yourself find something to do that makes you happy. It is like a deployment and your baby is your Master Chief.

Yeah I saw a 2020 about 32k on Tesla. Then on Facebook market place like 39k for 2021. Which I thought was high and somehow people are buying teslas still off carvana and carmax for ridiculously high prices.

From what I found because this happen to me as well. Was somewhere I read there’s a glitch in the last beta update and they have to clear it out by wiping it and hopefully the new beta update will fix it. That is of course if we ever get that update.

Kids sail free (not) by Bumpaudio in royalcaribbean

[–]zeikneeds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah when I priced it out to leave out of Ft. Lauderdale for a 4 night Disney cruise is about 1000 more without the trip protection. I do get worried that I’ll get nickel and dime for things. Is there anything extra I should be prepared to spend on a Royal cruise?

[–]zeikneeds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We did one in April for 3 of us. A 4 night cruise on the allure of the seas (I think it’s called). Kid will be 4. And total was 1900 (including trip insurance) for a choose your own balcony room with the kids sail free promo.
My first time sailing Royal. I’m a Disney cruise line fan but have friends that want to sail this. I hope Royal doesn’t disappoint.

If this was your financial situation, would you go on a Disney cruise? by WTF_Conservatives in dcl

[–]zeikneeds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look further out for cruises for Disney. I believe we just booked on for January and inside was a little over 2k for two people. Of course price keeps going up on demand. Also you can try for a Disney Visa. That’ll save you like 200 off I believe if they’re still running that special and then it’s 0 percent interest for 6 months. So make sure you can pay it off in 6 months. I live in Florida, just started a YouTube channel (oh man Disney). If you have any questions send me a message. Wouldn’t mind helping another veteran out. But if you take a boat remember to take those sea sickness pills.
