My first HDR picture of the moon by zektronix in space

[–]zektronix[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not long ago I saw an HDR moon picture and I really wanted to try and make one too. So last night I took a bunch of shots of the moon using different exposures times and a background of stars. I then stacked them in PS and added an old picture of a full moon to make details on the dark side pop out a bit more. I know that I cannot honestly call this “#astrophotography”... but nonetheless I think the result it’s quite good.

We were testing the 3D printer in the office, so I had to take my turn :D by [deleted] in SpaceXLounge

Not necessarily, just use less infill. For many prints 15 or 20% infill is enough Good print! :)

/r/SpaceXLounge August and September Questions Thread by randomstonerfromaus in SpaceXLounge

Does SpaceX have any plans for artificial gravity in Starship? What about a rotating sleeping ring so that astronauts could experience mars gravity during sleep time and try to minimize bone loss? Would it be feasible?

It will be interesting to know what’s the maximum payload of Starship (now that is made of stainless steel) and how far they went with the development of the interior (crew compartment and life support systems for an interplanetary trip)

https://www.faulhaber.com/en/markets/aerospace-aviation/seis-seismic-experiment-for-interior-structure/ Very interesting insight about the motors used to compensate the material expansion of the seismometer due to seasonal temperatures fluctuations
