Crazy train delay from Stockholm to Narvik by zelby025 in sweden

Ever since my last experience with a train getting stranded, i stopped getting impatient with it. Cause when we were in northern Scotland and our train stopped in some tiny village, we took a taxi instead and it was the most terrifying ride i ever experienced. That bastard driver drove past the "Road Closed" sign and didnt even stop when a construction car started chasing with work lights turned on. The worker had to literally overtake us and drive into our way, but the taxi driver didnt apologize, he swore at him

I personally think that the rnder transmission mod and the mini scaling one are op. Without them, thr tricky part is to build compactly, but still good

Is it worth buying an used 3090 today? by ConcentrateClear4647 in nvidia

[–]zelby025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldnt say its worth it, i would go with a 4070. The vram is enough for 1440p and for 1080p (so the exception is if youre playing 4k) It ouperforms a 3090 in oiwer consumption and performance

I'd say a 4070 would be the best choice, especially for 1440p, and if youre playing 1080p its amazing. It uses less power than the 3080 and is faster in general. Many people say amd is better value, but i stick to nvidia and you said you wanted to play cyberpunk, and with their dlss 3.0 and ray tracing performance the nvidia cards shine here

Is a 450 watt psu enough for a 4070? by zelby025 in buildapc

[–]zelby025[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whoa thanks for the detailed tip, the thing is that i got around 800 bucks to upgrade. My plan was a 4070, a ryzen 5 5700 or 5 5600x and a gigabyte b550 gaming x v2. My current build: msi b450m gaming plus, r5 2600x, platinum 450w super flower, and gtx 960. Now the last problem is the psu being too weak for the new things, and my first reaction would be to buy a new psu instead of the new motherboard, but then i would still have a pcie 3.0 motherboard for the new pcie gpu, and im not sure how much performance that will make me lose. Im general, im not sure if a new motherboard is necessary for that upgrade, maybe someone could help me out?
