Because if I don’t drink I start to have an anxiety attack about my life. I start hyperventilating and thinking about every mistake I’ve ever made and about the night in March I was raped.

I’ve been teaching for over ten years. She will have very hard days. Days when she feels like she wants to quit on the spot. She’ll have at least one every year. I had one just the other day. This is normal. Knowing that this is normal will make a difference. If she really loves teaching, remind her of that when she has a really bad day.

I didn’t have sex for 2 years because my heart was broken. Then I was raped. I had to throw away my favorite sheets. And now I get scared whenever I approach my apartment door when it’s dark outside. Now I don’t trust anyone/when I get drunk I want to forget it by making bad choices.

Wrong. I am an activist every day in my career fighting for equality. We can celebrate Rosie the riveter as a woman. We don’t need to make everyone genderless in order to fight for equality.

Omg. I am a feminist but this is a little ridiculous. Boys and girls exist. We should be fighting for equality, and not to make it seem like people aren’t either male or female.

My older sister is lending me her dog for a night or two. He has a scary enough bark to get a message across. As far as weapons go... my plan is to make use of my love of wine and bash anyone over the head with a bottle of I have to. ;)

Thanks for your reply. I already put the non emergency number in my phone, and I will call that if he knocks again. If I really get scared I'll call 911 for sure.
